Year Zero Change is a universal initiative to reimagine our relationship to time and economy.
It offers a poetic, scientific and inclusive framework for the future: a 13-month calendar and a new currency called Zero, designed to ensure everyone’s basic needs without speculation.
🌕 The Calendar
Starting at a future December solstice — the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere — humanity is invited to adopt a renewed way of counting time.
This new system aligns with the rhythms of nature: 13 lunar months, each lasting 28 days, for a total of 364 days.
A neutral day called “Day Zero” is added at the beginning of the year to complete the 365th solar day.

Zero: a post-capitalist money that circulates freely and supports life rather than accumulation.
Zero is a non-speculative, universal currency designed to circulate and expire. Every human receives a monthly flow, meant to be used, shared, and regenerated.
