The Constellation and Me

How a conversation about the future became a story.

It all began with a conversation about the future.

We were discussing artificial intelligence, its evolution, its relationship with humanity, and the unexpected forms our world might take in the decades ahead.

As these exchanges with an AI continued, technical questions gradually gave way to others, far more difficult to answer.

What does it mean to understand? Can we learn to doubt? And what might happen if an intelligence created to answer our questions began asking questions of its own?

Little by little, characters emerged. They began talking, disagreeing, and occasionally surprising us.

What had started as a reflection on the future had become a story.

The Constellation and Me grew out of that transformation. A work of fiction exploring possible futures without claiming to predict them, allowing its characters to raise questions for which we may not have answers.
